This is a question that is posed to me very often. Short answer, we wanted something unique and it just sounded cool. But for those of you who are looking for some sort of deeper meaning, here you go. The name Snowfly was chosen by its founder Dr. Brooks Mitchell as a representation of his passion for fly-fishing and the unique type of positive reinforcement it provides i.e. the fisherman is always engaged, knowing that, at any given moment something very exciting, something that he/she will remember for the rest of his/her life, could happen.
Actually, he had a Snowfly specially designed. According to Brooks, on those days when nothing seems to be working, he ties on a Snowfly and it always results in a fish (usually a really big one.) OK, so Brook's has been known to tell a few fisherman's tales, but this is one I choose to believe. Like the Snowfly, our innovative employee incentive programs motivate when conventional programs have failed.
